GPL WEEK 15 REVIEW: RAMPANT HEARTS THRASH LIBERTY, WAFA STRETCH LEAD

Accra Hearts of Oak were in sensational as they handed Liberty Professionals an emphatic 3:0 drubbing in Dansoman.

Thomas Abbey scored twice, while Cosmos Dauda got the other goal for Hearts, but it was Patrick Razak who was one of the main architects of the win, as he was named the Nasco man of the match.

The Phobians are now on a six-match unbeaten run after comfortably dismissing their hosts for their second successive win to consolidate their third place on the table and also close in on Aduana Stars, who drew at Bechem.

Second-placed Aduana were held 1-1 by Bechem United in Bechem, a result which leaves Aduana two points behind leaders WAFA, who won their match on Saturday to open a three-point advantage.

WAFA defeated Inter Allies 2:0 with Prince Oben Ampem scoring all the two goals to open a three-point advantage ahead of Sunday's matches. 

In Kumasi, Asante Kotoko's winless run continued, stretching to eight matches without a win. They were held to 0:0 draw by Tema Youth.

In Elmina, Joseph Dabitoro was the hero of the afternoon as his lone goal was enough to defeat Ebusua Dwarfs, while Great Olympics held Berekum Chelsea to a 0:0.

Ashantigold returned to winning ways with a 1:0 win over Wa Allies

Bolga All Stars went down 1:2 to Medemama in Tamale. IIbrahim Giyas who scored fro for Medeama, while Latif Salifu and Bernard Ofori scored for Medeama.
