Ghana to face France in 2018 World Cup opener

Ghana have been drawn with hosts nation, France for the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.

FIFA and the Local Organising Committee (LOC) are pleased to announce that the media accreditation process for media representatives wishing to cover the Official Draw for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup France 2018

The first Lady of Ghana, Mrs Rebecca Akufo Addo has urged Ghanaians to throng the Cape Coast Stadium for the crucial World Cup qualifier between Ghana’s Black Princesses and their Cameroonian counterparts.

Ghana has qualified to the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup after beating Cameroon 3-0 (4-1 aggregate) in the final qualifying match played at the Cape Coast Stadium on Saturday. 

The Black Princesses are geared up for this weekend’s crucial FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying second leg match against Cameroon.

The Black Princesses have held their Cameroonian counterparts to a 1-1 draw in their FIFA U20 World Cup final qualifying match.

The Black Maidens have beaten their Gambian counterparts 5-1 in their FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifying match played on Bakau, Gambia on Saturday. 

The categories include Women’s Player of the Year, National Team of the Year (Men & Women), Youth Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, Club of the Year and Referee of the Year.

The Black Princesses have advanced to the final stage if the FIFA Women's U-20 World Cup qualifiers after completing a 10-1 agregate win over Kenya on Sunday.

The Black Princesses have beaten their Kenyan counterparts 5-0 in their FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup qualifying match played in Cape Coast on Sunday.
