Black Princesses bow out of 2016 FIFA World Cup

The Black Princesses have been eliminated from the 2016 FIFA Women's World Cup after Monday’s 1-1 draw with USA at the Sir John Guise Stadium in Port Moresby, Papua Guinea.

Another last minute goal caused Ghana its first win in the ongoing 2016 FIFA U20 World Cup tournament in Papua New Guinea as the Black Princesses drew 2-2 with France on Thursday.

The Black Princesses of Ghana have suffered a 1-0 defeat to New Zealand in their 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup group stage opening match on Monday.

The Black Princesses are expected to arrive in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea on Friday ahead of the start of the 2016 FIFA U20 World Cup over the weekend.

The Black Princesses have began their pre-tournament tour on Thursday when they defeated Australian side Edge Hill 6-0 in a friendly game played in Cairns, North Queensland.
