Black Starlets draw hosts, Guinea & Cameroon

The Black Starlets of Ghana have been drawn in the same group alongside hosts Madagascar, Guinea and Cameroon of the 2017 African  U-17 Championships.

Ghana's Embassy in Ivory Coast had a lunch buffet in honor of the Black Starlets on Sunday October 2 after their goalless draw with the young Elephants which saw them qualify to the 2017 African U-17 tournament.

The National U17 Male Team, the Black Starlets will travel to Burkina Faso on Thursday for the 2nd Leg Africa Youth Champions Qualifier against the Young Stallions of Burkina Faso. 

The national U-17 male team have defeated their Burkinabe counterparts 5-1 in their African U-17 Championship qualifying first leg match played at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday.

The new Cape Coast stadium will host the Black Starlets in the first leg of the second round qualifier for the African U-17 Championship against Burkina Faso on Sunday, August 7 at 15:00pm.

GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi and Black Stars coach Avram Grant paid a visit to the National U-17 team during their training session on Thursday at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

Black Starlets arrive in Namibia for the start of the four-team tournament .

Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin has selected Thirty- five (35) youngsters to form the nucleus of the National U-17 male team subject to they passing all medical tests.
