FA Cup trophy tour begins with visit to Hearts of Oak Secretariat

The FA Cup Trophy tour began this morning after members of the organizing Committee presented the giant trophy to officials of Hearts of Oak's at the clubs Secretariat in Accra.

This year's grand finale will see a historic match between the phobians and their rivals Asante Kotoko at the Tamale Stadium on Sunday October 29.

The trophy which was escorted by the official mascot for the final match "Mr. Obia Nye Obiaa" was received at the Secretariat of club by board members Hon. Vincent Odotei, Mr Frank Nelson, Mr Hackman Aidoo and other top officials of the club.

The trophy was also taken to some media houses in the Accra as part activities leading to the grand finale.

The trophy will arrive in Kumasi on Saturday and will be taken straight to the Secretariat of Asante Kotoko and will be presented to top officials of the club.

The trophy will then make its way to the Northern regional capital where it will be taken to various traditional leaders, top government officials and key institutions before it arrives at the stadium on the day of the match.
