Late- goal ends Ghana's U17 World Cup dreams

The Black Maidens have been knocked out of the 2016 FIFA World Cup after losing 2-1 to Korea DPR in the quarter finals stage of the competition.

Substitute Ja Un-Yong scored an injury time goal to give Korea DPR the winner and end Ghana 's FIFA U17 World Cup dreams Al Hassan International Stadium.

The Koreans took the lead from the penalty spot after Grace Acheampong was adjudged to have fouled Pyon Un-Gong and Kim Po-Ui scored from the spot, sending Kayza Massey the wrong way.

Gifty Acheampong drew level for Ghana,  heading past Ok Kum-Ju after Philicity Asuako had lofted the ball into the Korea DPR box.

Korea DPR however got the winner in the 94th as Ja Un-Yong tapped the ball into net from close range as Ghana failed to deal with a low free-kick.

The Black Maidens who were quarterfinalists two years ago in Costa Rica, have therefore failed to reach the semis stage of the competition.
