The Division One League Board has announced timelines for the upcoming 2016/17 football season.

According a statement released by the Board, the upcoming season could commence on Saturday 17th/Sunday 18th December, 2016.

Below are the timelines ahead of the start of the season:

i. Registration - Monday, 14th November, 2016 - Friday, 10th February, 2017

ii. Deadline for the declaration of dedicated jersey numbers to each player, strips, official signatories, club telephone numbers and club emails - Monday, 5th December, 2016

iii. Stakeholders seminar/Launch - Tuesday, 13th December, 2016

iv. Deadline for payment of officiating fees - Thursday, 15th December, 2016

v. Match day One (1) - Saturday 17th/ Sunday 18th December, 2016

Clubs have been entreated to meet the above timelines in order to have a smooth kick-off for the 2016/17 Division One League.
