The 2026 X1 Energy Drink Division One League (DOL) Super Cup will kick off at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium today, Monday, August 10, 2026, with eight of the country's top-performing Division One clubs competing for honours.

The competition brings together the best clubs from the three Division One League zones, as well as the two highest-ranked third-placed teams, providing an ideal platform for clubs to assess their squads, integrate new players, and prepare for the upcoming league season.

The eight teams have been drawn into two groups of four.

Group A features Debibi United FC, Real Tamale United FC, Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs FC, and Attram De Visser FC - a blend of experienced campaigners and ambitious clubs eager to make a strong statement ahead of the new Division One League season.

Group B will see FC AshantiGold, Tamale City FC, Semper Fi FC, and Nsuopon Fidelity FC battle for the two available semi-final spots.

This year's tournament also marks a new era following the partnership between the Ghana Football Association and X1 Energy Drink, the headline sponsor of the competition under a five-year agreement.

The Super Cup is expected to serve as a perfect curtain-raiser for the new Division One League season as clubs look to build momentum and stake an early claim for promotion to the Premier League.
