The 30th Ordinary Congress of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) commenced on Monday with a series of focused brainstorming sessions aimed at driving the development of football in the country. Held at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram, these sessions brought together administrators and leaders from various segments of the FA's ecosystem, including Premier League clubs, Division One League clubs, representatives of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG), constituent bodies, and other congress delegates.

During the two-hour discussions, the various groups delved into critical topics such as governance, finance and administration, talent identification and development, player welfare, and the general progress of Ghana football.

The goal was to generate innovative ideas and actionable strategies that could be implemented to enhance the overall state of football in the country.

Each group subsequently presented their concept papers to the Executive Council of the GFA, offering valuable insights and proposals that will be considered in the ongoing efforts to reform and advance Ghanaian football.

These brainstorming sessions are seen as a pivotal part of the congress, setting the stage for meaningful deliberations and decisions in the days to come.
