Liberia FA Executive Council Member Pawala Janya on official visit to office of Ghana Football Association

Executive Committee Member of the Liberia Football Association Pawala Janyan, on Thursday, April 21, paid a working visit to the Ghana Football Association [GFA] at its headquarters in Accra.

The meeting was meant to build on the existing relationship between the two Federations and also to continue the mutually beneficial working relationship between the two football Associations in the various management and technical settings.

The Executive Committee member was received by GFA General Secretary, Prosper Harrison Addo (Esq.), Director of National Teams and Deputy General Secretary Alex Asante, Director of IT, Francis Adu, Communications Director, Henry Asante Twum, Club Licensing Manager and Julius Ben Emunah, Director of Marketing Jamil Maraby and Director of Competitions Sena Akoto Ampaw.

Discussions were held on how the FIFA Connect system is been rolled out, digital player registration, Domestic Transfer System, management of National teams, organization of domestic competitions and how to dealing with challenges in the course of the season.

Other aspects of the game that was addressed in the meeting included Policies formulation, domestic football regulations, code of conduct, laws of the game, International relations and capacity building of Coaches.

The Ghana Football Association has over the years played a key role in helping other Football Federations within the West African sub-Region and other parts of the continent come to an appreciable level in the administrative aspect of the game.

Pawala Juanya who ended his two day visit on Friday, April 22, 2022 will later hold a formal discussion with GFA Technical Director Bernhard Lippert and Director of Coaching Education Professor Joseph Mintah on Coach Education and and important exchange programmes.
