GFA Elite Academy Boys & Girls exhibit football skills to FIFA TDS Knowledge exchange participants
Technical Directors and Representatives of various MAs who are attending the FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS) Knowledge Exchange Program in Accra observed two exhibition matches involving the GFA Elite Academy Boys and Girls teams on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.
The U15 girls side played against a U15 select side from the Greater Accra Regional FA (GARFA), while the boys U15 team played against Attram De Visser U15 at Union Park in Legon.
Under the umbrella of the TDS, the GFA Elite Academy project also aims to accelerate elite youth player development by guiding, advising, and mentoring the talents dotted and scattered across the country.
GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku and General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo were at Union Park to welcome the GFA Elite Academy boys and girls teams to Accra.
They offered words of advice to the young talents and urged them to stay focused and grounded as they embark on a football career path that has far-reaching positive implications for their futures.
The boys and girls will visit some tourist sites in Accra before they return to the Technical Center in Winkongo to continue their academic and football development.
