The goalkeeper, who came on as a 93rd-minute substitute, saved two penalties as Attram De Visser romped to a 4-3 win in the shootout, cruising to the semifinals of the competition.
The pulsating encounter began explosively, with PAC Academy taking full control of the game. As the match progressed, Attram De Visser warmed up and created two decent chances, but were denied by PAC Academy's goalkeeper, David Kudjoe.
After the break, PAC Academy was awarded a penalty in the 63rd minute when Joseph Kojo Junior was fouled in the box. Captain Evans Sarfo slotted home from the spot, giving PAC Academy a 1-0 lead.
Gabriel Matumassey broke PAC Academy's hearts with a 93rd-minute equalizer after soaring above all to beat the goalkeeper, forcing the game into a penalty shootout.
In the shootouts, goalkeeper Abdul Manaf Ibrahim saved two penalties from Samed Kyei and Bernard Asante, securing Attram De Visser's 4-3 win in the shootout.
With this victory, Attram De Visser has progressed to their first semifinal in the history of the MTN FA Cup.
