The Headmistress of Aboabo No.4 Presby Primary School Gloria Anima Jnr. has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for selecting their circuit for the Bono Ahafo Region edition of Football4Girls program.

The program, part of the GFA's Women’s Football Strategy, brought together eight schools from Dormaa and surrounding towns, providing opportunities for girls aged 6-12 to participate. Each school received two footballs and GFA paraphernalia for taking part in the program.

‘‘On behalf of my own self, Head teachers, teachers, learners and the good people of Aboabo Community, I would sincerely like to say a very big thank you to the GFA for choosing our circuit among others for this year’s Football 4Girls Initiative in the region’’ she said.

‘’Not only that, each school had access to two footballs which ordinarily, purchasing them at the local market would have been very difficult for the Head teachers’’.

‘’I must say, we were all overwhelmed by the display of talents by the young girls. We, therefore commit to ensure the sustainability of this laudable initiative within our Circuit and even beyond. Thank you so much and may God bless the Ghana Football Association’’ she added.

The Football4Girls program forms part of the developmental pathway of the GFA Women Football Strategy. This initiative aims to nurture young talents in basic schools by ensuring every girl has access to play football without any hindrances.
