Access Bank DOL Review: Hohoe United’s Faruk Moahmmed, Yaro Isaac of Tamale City are top scorers for 2023/24 season
Farouk Mohammed of Hohoe United and Tamale City's Yaro Isaac are joint top scorers for the 2023/24 Access Bank Division One League after scoring 17 goals each in the just ended campaign.
In Zone One, Yaro Isaac of Tamale City, Osman Zakaria of Northern City, Yussif Huzaifa of Techiman Liberty Youth, Ibrahim Alhassan of Maana FC and Sule Musa of Debibi United were the top five scorers. The quintet performances were remarkable in this campaign after helping their clubs to secure respectable spots on the League table.
Yaro Isaac ended the season as the top scorer in Zone One with 17 goals. Osman Zakaria of Northern City came second with 11 goals in 30 appearances. In third place is Yussif Huzaifa of Techiman Liberty Youth who scored 10 goals, while, Ibrahim Alhassan of Maana FC and Debibi United’s Sule Musa complete the list with 9 goals each.
In Zone Two, Alhassan Adamu of Elimina Sharks, Kwame Danquah of PAC Academy, Andrews Cobbinah of Skyy FC, Enoch Afram of Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs and Zone Two champions Basake Holy Stars' Abdul H. Bashiru were the top five scores in the Zone.
Alhassan Adamu of Elmina Sharks ended the season as the Zone Two top scorer with 13 goals with Kwame Danquah of PAC Academy and Andrews Cobinnnah finishing in second place after banging in 12 goals each. Enoch Afram netted 11 times to finish in fourth place, while, Abdul H. Bashiru of Basake Holy Stars scored 10 goals to pick the fifth spot.
In Zone Three, Farouk Mohammed of Hohoe United, Faisal Charwetey of Akatsi All Stars, Dacosta Owusu of Attram De Visser, Stephen Agbekli of Prampram Uncle T United and Kings Palace Samuel Awatsonya made the top five scorers list in the Zone.
Farouk Mohammed of second placed Hohoe United finished the season as the top scorer with 17 goals. He is followed by Faisal Charwetey of Akatsi All Stars (13 goals) as Attram De Visser star player Dacosta Owusu and Stephen Agbekli of Prampram Uncle T United also made the list in third and fourth place with 10 goals each, while, Samuel Awatsonya of Kings Palace FC netted 9 League goals to complete the list.
