Aduana Stars beat Berekum Chelsea 3-1 on Sunday to boost their hopes of playing in the Premier League next season.
Though on 30 points and still amongst the bottom three, Aduana, who have a game in hand are just three points away from 10th place.
Richard Arhin opened the scoring at the Agyemang Badu Park in the 28th minute as Aduana headed into the break one goal up.
They returned from the break and got two more goals with Godfred Saka making it 2-nil from the spot before Stephen Owusu scored the third with three minutes of play remaining.
Ebenezer Ofori scored a late consolation for Chelsea from the spot.
Every point dropped could prove costly as Chelsea are now three points above the drop with four games to go.
