Aduana Stars continued their home winning streak with another hard fought victory over Legon Cities FC on MatchDay 5 of the Ghana Premier League at Dormaa Ahenkro.
The match which was full of action from both sides from the blast of the whistle, was barren until the 45th minute when Aduana Stars broke the deadlock.
A powerful drive from a well-taken free kick by Yahaya Mohammed, the leading goal scorer of the 2019/2020 league season, sent the Ogya Boys ahead.
The first hal ended with Aduana leadjng by Yahaya Mohammed's loan goal.
Legon Cities came into the Second half determined to get the equaliser but a well-timed substitution from Aduana's Coach W.O. Tandoh, which saw him introduce former Bechem United midfielder Noah Martey, ended the visitors' quest to draw level.
The substitute expertly took a freekick which entered the net with goalkeeper Prosper Gbeku rendered helpless.
Referee Musah Mubarik ended the the game after ninety minutes and four minutes additional time with the home fans cheering after getting another home victory making it 3 home wins in a roll.
