The future of Ghana striker, Junior Agogo with Nottingham Forest has always surfaced in the media since his impressive showing at the 2008 African Nations Cup but the player says he "would like to stay" at the City Ground next season.
Agogo had previously admitted his desire to play top flight-football somewhere in Europe, casting doubts about his long term future at the City Ground.
With promotion secured to the Championship, Agogo says he would be happy to line up for Colin Calderwood's side again next term.
"I am so pleased for the fans that they have finally got their promotion, Nottingham has been a party city since the game," he told the Nottingham Evening Post.
However, the striker would remain busy with Ghana as he plays for the Black Stars in their 2010 World Cup/Nations Cup qualifiers which begins with a home game against Libya scheduled for June 1.
And the Ghana international wants to complete his international duties before deciding his long term future.
"I want to get this international out of the way and I will see what happens when I fly back into London, but yes, I would like to stay at Forest.
"I have had a great season. Hopefully I can carry on in my role for Ghana and Forest, but I will see what happens. At the minute I am a Forest player."
