A slump in form has forced Mighty Jets to recall former coach Jonas Amissah back to the club six months after he quit as head coach.
Amissah’s re-engagement comes after the sacking of Foster Alhassan, the man who succeeded him last week.
Jets are just a point above the relegation zone in the Glo Premier League with seven games to go and are hoping that their former head coach can halt their slide down the standings, as they sit 13th.
Jets are hoping that Amissah's return will serve as a boost in their quest to remain in the top flight.
“This is like a family reunion and we are happy to have him (Amissah) back,” Mighty Jets’ Administrative Manager James Oyedeji said.
The ex-Bofoakwa Tano coach resigned from Mighty Jets after being demoted to the reserves following a string of poor results during the first round in this season's premier league.
