Ghana's up-coming 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Sudan in Kumasi will probably be a tough clash as coach Kwesi Appiah demands that his called up players show hunger for success.
Appiah, who will conduct his first training session with his squad on Tuesday in Accra says, there is plenty of work to do if Ghana is to win against Sudan.
"The players have an opportunity to fight for the nation. For some, it will be their first time with the Black Stars and this chance can be their first of many important games," Appiah told www.ghanafa.org.
"We are not looking beyond this game. Our only focus is on Sudan and we must work hard to get a win and carry on from there.
"We will support them to play their best and also expect the fans to rally behind the team and give them massive support."
Sitting second in Group D and three points behind the top, the Black Stars must pick up all three points at home against the Nile Crocodiles to keep their campaign alive.
"I know every game is important for us," the Black Stars coach said.
"We know where our team stands and I expect every player to exhibit a desire to be part of a winning team. They must show hunger throughout our preparations and for the match against Sudan."
