Ghana’s Stephen Appiah and Samuel Inkoom will sit out of Wednesday’s international friendly against Angola.

The Black Stars play the Palancas Negras at the Coqueiros Stadium as the CAN hosts test one of their match venues ahead of the finals.

Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac confirmed the duos absence for the game and said express permission had been sought to excuse them due to club commitment.

“Both will not be part of the team for the friendly. They will have to attend to pressing club issues so we agreed on that,” the Black Stars coach said.

In their stead, Rajevac intends taking with him an 18-man squad to play Manuel José's Angolan side.

“Rahim (Ayew) and Opoku (Agyemang) will be part of the team for the game. But Daniel Addo is out of it.”
