Kwadwo Asamoah is aiming to put one past his friends on the Chilean side when Ghana meets the South American side in a friendly on Wednesday.

The game at the PPL Park in Philadelphia will see Asamoah reunite with former teammate at Udinese, Alexi Sanchez who now plays for Barcelona and Mauricio Isla, who is out injured.

Asamoah says a Black Stars victory will settle the debate between them over which of the two sides is the better team.

"This match will settle the debates between me on one side, and Sanchez and Isler on the other," the Ghana attacker said ahead of the match. "We continuously argue over which country has the best team."

"It is sad that Isla is not here because of his injury but Sanchez is here so the Black Stars are up for it.

"For me this match means more than a friendly because we have to please our fans back home and also finally settle the debates with my two Chilean friends."
