Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah scored his first Italian Serie A goal on Sunday.

The Black Stars attacker helped his side Udinese to a 3-1 win over Fiorentina after putting his side in the lead on 10 minutes before two second half goals by Gaetano D'Agostino sealed the win.

Asamoah was given a rapturous reception when he was replaced on 85 minutes.

The attacker moved to Italy just before the 2008 African Cup of Nations. He was signed by Udinese after impressing for local side, Liberty Professionals.
