AshantiGold finally tasted victory in the Glo Premier League after ending a three-game run of successive draws by defeating Amidaus Professionals 3-1 at the Len Clay Stadium on Wednesday.
It was the visitors who drew first blood Yahaya Mohammed scored in the 20th minute.
But the Miners drew level nine minutes later through Louis Agyemang before Didier Kore put the home side in front for the first time in the 40th minute.
The Miners returned from the break determined to rake in the goals but their had to wait until the 84th minute to see the third goal through Aaron Amoah.
