AshantiGold could only draw 1-1 with ten-man Tema Youth on Sunday at the Len Clay Stadium in the Glo Premier League.

The Miners took a 12th minute lead through Aaron Amoah but they could not hold on to their lead til the break.

Two minutes after the opener, Tema Youth drew level with Bright Adjei getting the equaliser to as both sides finished the first half one-goal apiece.

Two minutes into the restart of the game, the visitors had James Akaminko dismissed by referee S.B. Bortey.

And with a man better than their opponents, the Miners could still not capitalize as Tema Youth remained very compact.

In the 90th minute, Amoah also followed Akaminko steps after earning a red card as both sides shared the spoils.
