The Kumasi derby produced no goal as Ashtown Ladies shared the spoils with Kumasi Sports Academy in a goalless draw on match day 10 of the Women’s Premier League at the Wesco Park.

Ashtown Ladies were touted as favourites after winning away on match day 9 while KUSA drew with Northern Ladies.

Although both teams were eager to score the first half of the match - Benedicta Duku fluffed the opportunity in the early minutes of the game.

Agnes Owusu of Ashtown Ladies was cautioned for a tackle in the 42nd minute. The last part of the match saw KUSA pushing for the lead but Ashtown Ladies were stood firm to protect their goal line as the game ended goalless.

Benedicta Duku of Kumasi Sports Academy was named the NASCO player of the match.
