Atsu crowns debut Afcon goal with MVP prize
Christian Atsu capped his debut Africa Cup of Nations goal on Monday in Port Elizabeth with the Orange man-of-the-match award.
The young attacking midfielder scored the second goal as Ghana beat Niger 3-0 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium to finish tops in Group B.
Atsu becomes the second Ghanaian player to have picked the individual prize at the competition after Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu.
