Newly promoted B.A. United announced their return to the First Capital Plus Premier League with a win against regional rivals Bechem United.

A beautiful goal from Isaac Danso was enough for B.A. United to take all three points in their first match of the season on Saturday at the Coronation Park.

After a goalless first half, Referee David Laryea sent Bechem United's Asante Agyeman off in the 56th minute.

Bechem United put up an impressive performance despite being a man down until Danso's 83rd minute shot managed to beat Ernest Adu in post for for the visitors.

The win sends B.A. United joint-top of the League table with three points a-piece after Hearts of Oak who beat WAFA 1-0 in Kpando.
