BA United stunned First Capital Plus Premier League leaders Ashgold by beating them by a lone goal at the Sunyani Stadium.

Sellorm Djerado scored in the 50th minute to give BA United their first win since February 11 when they recorded a similar scoreline against Hasaacas.

Ashgold will however maintain their position on top of the Premier League table but have seen their lead reduced to three points.

BA will also remain at their 15th position with 10 points out of 12 matches played this season.

Meanwhile at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, New Edubiase recorded their first clean sheet of the season with a 2-0 win over Bechem United on Sunday.

After a quiet first half, Nasir lamin scored the opener in the 53rd minute before Nuhu Fuseini added the second in the 68th minute.

The result has seen Bechem United slip to 11th on the League table with Edubiase moving level on points with 13th placed Hearts of Oak.
