Badu scores Ghana's 99th at Nations Cup

Ghana on Wednesday night grabbed their 99th goal at the African Cup of Nations.

Emmanuel Agyemang Badu scored the goal for Ghana at the tournament in their 1-1 draw against Guinea with the Black Stars one goal shot of a 100th. The result qualified Ghana to quarter-finals of the tournament.

Badu scored from a dipping volley into the far corner and the goal also marked his first at the competition.

Ghana's first goal at the Nations Cup was scored by Wilberforce Mfum in 1963.
