Latif Salifu struck late to give Berekum Chelsea a point in their Match day 16 tie in the First Capital Plus Premier League against Inter Allies at the Tema Stadium on Sunday.
The homeside took the lead in the first half with Sheriff Deo Mohammed’s 31st minute goal and looked set to secure all three points until Latif Salifu’s 85th minute strike cancelled their solitary lead.
The match which was the opening match of the second round for both sides, takes Inter Allies to 10th on the League table with 21 points whiles Chelsea are 6th with 23 points.
Meanwhile at the Len Clay Stadium, Great Olympics held New Edubiase to a goalless draw with veteran Olympics goalkeeper Richard Kingston saving a spot kick to keep the game barren.
The point from Sunday’s League game sees the two teams level on points though Olympics are 13th while Edubiase are 15th on the League log.
