The Black Galaxies will take on Swedru All Blacks in a friendly at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence (GSCE) on Saturday November 30, 2024.

Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani's side will use the match as a dress rehearsal for the epic TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 qualifiers against Nigeria next month. Kick of 8am local time.

The coach has been trimming the rough edges of the team ahead of the titanic clash involving the two eternal rivals.

The Black Galaxies beat Akatsi All Stars 3-2 in a similar exercise on Wednesday November 27, 2024. Asante Kotoko's Emmanuel Antwi, Medeama defender Nurudeen Abdulai and Heart of Lions' Mustapha Yakubu were on target against the second-tier side.

The friendly against Swedru All Blacks forms part of preparations for the CHAN qualifiers against Nigeria in December.

The first leg of the tie takes place between December 20 - 22, 2024, in Ghana, before the return leg comes off between December 27 -29, 2024, in Nigeria.

Ghana eliminated Nigeria to secure qualification to the last edition of the CHAN tournament in Algeria after a post-match penalty shootout following a 2-2 aggregate scoreline.

The winner of the two-legged tie will secure their spot in the CHAN 2024 tournament to be held in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania next year.

Ghana and Nigeria have a long-standing rivalry which is set to be rekindled in what is expected to be a thrilling two-legged affair.
