The second phase of an assessment exercise for the national male Under-20 team, the Black Satellites, will take place at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) technical centre, with players expected to report to camp on Saturday February 2, 2025.

Thirty-eight (38) players drawn from Premier, Division One and lower tier sides have been invited for phase 2 of the assessment exercise at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence (GSCE) in Prampram.

Players selected for consideration are high performing players who are jostling for selection to the national Under 20 male team, the Black Satellites.

Coach Desmond Ofei and his technical team have indicated their intention to continuously and consistently identify talented youngsters who will challenge players who are already in the team.

The Black Satellites, who won gold at the recently held Africa Games, are preparing for the AFCON Under 20 championships, which will be staged in Cote D’Ivoire from 26 April to 18 May, 2025.

The Satellites' Technical team is hopeful of identifying precocious talents who would bring the needed levels of competition within the squad to build a winsome team.
