The Black Sharks held their official training on Thursday, October 17 at the Hurghada Beach Soccer Arena ahead of their 2024 Beach Soccer AFCON opening game.
Ghana will face tournament hosts Egypt in the opening match on Saturday, October 19, at 4:30pm after the other Group A match between Morocco and Tanzania.
The Black Sharks arrived in Egypt on Wednesday after weeks of pre-tournament preparations in Keta.
Coach Daniel Neequaye’s side is poised to advance from the group stage and secure a slot to represent Africa at the 2025 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup set to be staged in Seychelles.
Defending Champions Senegal are in Group B alongside Mauritania, Mozambique, and Senegal.
