Black Stars boosted by arrival of fourteen players ahead of Angola, Niger Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers

Fourteen players have arrived to bolster Ghana’s squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger.

The newcomers include: Jordan Ayew, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen, Alidu Seidu, Kingsley Schindler, Terry Yegbe, Francis Abu, Forson Amankwah, Ransford Yeboah Koningsdorffer, Ibrahim Sulemana, Ernest Nuamah, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Nathaniel Adjei and Michael Baidoo.

They join Mohammed Kudus, Gideon Mensah, Elisha Owusu, Osman Bukari, Joseph Wollacott, Emmanuel Antwi, Razak Simpson and Isaac Afful who began training on Monday.

Serbia-based left back Ebenezer Annan is slated to arrive Tuesday night to round out the squad. The team will hold two more training sessions in Accra before departing for Luanda on Wednesday.

Ghana faces Angola in Luanda on Friday, November 15, before they host Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, November 18, 2024.
