Black Stars fly out of Port Elizabeth

Ghana have departed Port Elizabeth for their semi-final match of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations against Burkina Faso in Nelspruit.

The Black Stars left aboard a chartered flight after 09:10 GMT on Monday morning for the all-West African clash on Wednesday at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.

Also on the one-hour thirty minutes flight was the Cape Verde squad who lost to Ghana in the quarter-finals.

Both sides exchanged pleasantries on board after the Blue Sharks entered the plane blaring the music of Ghanaian musician, Castro - African Girls - that featured Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan

Burkina Faso set up the last four meeting after beating Togo 1-0 on Sunday, a day after Ghana were 2-0 winners over Cape Verde.

For the Stallions, It is only the second time they will be playing at the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals. The last time came when they hosted the tournament in 1998.
