The Black Stars held a recovery training session at Bryant University on Wednesday, 24 hours after grinding out a 0-0 draw with England at Gillette Stadium to stay joint top of World Cup Group L.
Carlos Queiroz’s squad returned to the pitch in Providence on Wednesday morning for a light session focused on regeneration, as starters from Tuesday’s game worked separately from the substitutes and unused players.
The session came after Ghana frustrated the Three Lions to move to four points from two matches, level with England at the top of Group L. A win against Croatia on Saturday would guarantee the Black Stars a place in the Round of 32.
No injury concerns were reported from the England game. The team will depart Providence for Philadelphia on Thursday and train once on Friday before facing Croatia at Lincoln Financial Field at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2026.
