The Black Stars have arrived in Antananarivo for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Group E qualifier against Madagascar.
The team departed Accra Friday afternoon and arrived in the Madagascan capital at about 1am Saturday. The four-time African Champions will hold its official training at Kianja Barea stadium at 5pm on Saturday, June 17, 2023.
The Black Stars held four training sessions in Accra before travelling down south for the crucial encounter.
Ghana need a win to book their ticket to the next Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire having won two and drawn the other two matches in the qualifiers.
Ghana’s journey thus far has seen them secure victories in two matches against Madagascar and Angola, while also earning draws against Central African Republic and Angola in the initial four fixtures.
Following the Madagascar clash, the Black Stars will conclude their qualifiers with a final home game against the Central African Republic in September.
Twenty four players travelled on Friday. They include:
