Kwesi Appiah got his players working on Tuesday afternoon in Turkey where the Black Stars are preparing for next week's World Cup play-off against Egypt.
Twenty players turned up for the team's first session in the capital, Istanbul.
Michael Essien, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Adam Kwarasey and Awal Mohammed are the only members of the team yet to arrive.
David Addy sat out of Tuesday's session following a problem with his ankle while Jerry Akaminko overcame an injury scare and trained.
Despite leading the tie 6-1 from the first leg in Kumasi on 15 October, Appiah has stressed the importance of the November 19 match in Cairo and says qualification is not been achieved yet.
“We have only played the first half and we are going to play the second half over there,” the Black Stars coach said last month.
“Therefore no one can underrate them.”
Ghana are bidding for a third-straight World Cup appearance.
