The Ghana Football Association will support the payment of referee fees in the Regions with an amount of GHC 300,000 every year, according to President Simeon-Okraku.

This comes to replace the current system where clubs in Division Two, Division Three, Women's Division One and Juvenile/Colts level pay officiating fees to the Regional Football Associations before honoring their League matches.

Payment of officiating fees is a great deal of challenge to clubs that compete in the Regional Leagues i.e. Regional Division Three, Division Two, Women's Division One League and Regional Juvenile/Colts Leagues.

The President also mentioned that the Ghana Football Association will invest GHC 200,000 into the training of the Catch Them Young Referees to bring them t an optimum level and make them ready for top tier competitions.

The Executive Council has also approved the payment of monthly allowance for Regional Referee Chairmen as well as Vice Chairmen of the Regional Footfall Association.
