The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Executive Committee today announced the dates for the pending TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
In a Council meeting on Friday, the Confederation of African Football has set July 2025, as the date for the next WAFCON in Morocco.
The dates for the Morocco 2024 tournament are:
* Opening Match: Saturday 5 July 2025 * Final Match: Saturday 26 July 2025
The competition had initially been scheduled for Morocco this year, however, the CAF Executive Council resolved to move the tournament to next year. The 21-day continental event will commence on July 5, 2025, and end on July 26, 2025.
Ghana's Black Queens has secured qualification for the competition after missing out since 2018.
