Ghana has earned the highest number of accreditation for officials at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.

Originally, only 30 accreditations are handed out by Caf to each participating team to be used only by officials and the technical crew but the Ghana delegation has far exceeded this limit.

The Ghana FA then made passionate appeal to the organizers for an additional five but ten were handed out after the application was granted following an emergency committee meeting.

This means, Ghana is 10-of better than any other team in terms of accredited personnel – five more technical and administrative respectively.

Botswana and Mali have also applied for more accreditation.
