The Confederation of African football (CAF) has communicated Sunday, May 29, 2022 as the deadline for the submission of names of all participating club for the 2022/23 TotalEnergies Women’s Champions League.
According to CAF, all Member Associations are to take note and comply.
Last year, Champions Hasaacas Ladies won the WAFU Zone B qualifiers, in Cote D’Ivoire before weaving their way into the final in Egypt where they lost the trophy to South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies in a nerve-racking final.
Ghana is yet to present a candidate for next season’s competition but efforts are being made to meet the deadline as the final of the 2021/2022 Women’s Premier League will be played on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The winner of the final will represent Ghana in the 2022/23 TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League.
