England manager Fabio Capello has described Tuesday night's friendly against Ghana as a fantastic game.
Both sides met for the first time at the senior level with the Black Stars scoring a late goal through Asamoah Gyan to deny the Three Lions a home win after Andy Carroll had given England a first half lead.
The entertaining draw was played before a sold out Wembley Stadium with 80,102 fans watching.
The Italian said that despite giving up the late equaliser he was delighted with his team’s performance.
"It was a fantastic game," said Capello. "I am happy because Ghana didn't play it like a friendly."
“Every tackle was a fight, the players played very well, the players that played not a lot of games here, the new players, played well."
