Berekum Chelsea handed New Edubiase a 2-0 defeat at the Golden City Park in their Premier League match played on Sunday.

After a quiet first half, the home side scored twice in the second half to earn them the maximum points on the day.

Kingsley Osei Effah scored the opener for Chelsea in the 63rd minute before Stephen Baffour capitalized on a goalkeeping error to double the lead.

Chelsea have now move second on League table while Edubiase are sitting just above the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, WAFA defeated Heart of Lions 2-1 at the Sogakope Park on Sunday in their Week 21 match.

Bashir Umar gave the home side the lead in the 18th minute before Osman Sackey brought the game back on level terms.

Kennedy Boateng converted a last minute penalty to give WAFA all three points on the day.

WAFA are now 3rd on the log while Lions are 14th on the league table.
