Berekum Chelsea held TP Mazembe to a 2-2 draw on Sunday in Lubumbashi to leave the Ghanaian side unbeaten in Group B of the Champions League.

In-form striker Emmanuel Clottey scored twice as Chelsea rallied from two goals down to draw their second group match and keep alive their hopes of reaching the semi-final on their debut.

Clottey is now on 11 goals in the competition after eight games.

And the Ghana international is two goals shy of equaling the record number of goals scored by an individual in a Champions League campaign which stands at 13 and accomplished in 2008 by Stephen Worgu for Enyimba.

Chelsea went down two-nil before the 33rd minute as Tresor Mputu scored the opener in the 11th minute from a penalty before adding the second in the 32nd minute.

But a second half revival saw Clottey pull one back in the 70th minute from the spot after he was brought down by goalkeeper Robert Kidiaba.

With six minutes remaining, Clottey found the back of the net again to deny the four-time champions their first win in the group phase of the competition.
