The Competitions Management System (CMS) training has officially begun in the Eastern Region, running from October 1 to October 3, 2024.

Organised by the Association (GFA), the training is aimed at enhancing the skills of key stakeholders involved in regional football competitions.

Led by Mr. Francis Adu Essah, the IT Director of the GFA, the program brings together IT officers from the Eastern Regional Football Association (RFA), representatives from Second Division clubs, referees, and match commissioners.

The training is being conducted in phases, with clubs and RFA IT officers receiving their sessions on October 1, referees on October 2, and match commissioners on October 3.

The focus of the training is to introduce participants to the new upgrades made to the CMS and to ensure smooth management of football competitions.

Key areas of focus include tracking cautions, expulsions, and monitoring key statistics for players and match officials.

This initiative is expected to significantly improve the operational efficiency of the competitions in the region.
