The MTN FA Cup Round of 16 match between Asante Kotoko and Sekondi Eleven Wise has been confirmed for Wednesday March 12, 2025.

The Porcupine Warriors will take on the Sekondi-based at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The match was moved forward in the wake of the tragic passing of devoted Kotoko fan Yaw Frimpong, popularly known as 'Pooley'.

The Competitions Department of the Football Association has fixed March 12 as the date for the epic knockout clash.

The winner of the match will join seven others ahead of the quarter-final draw next month.
