DC rules on Division Two cases

The Disciplinary Committee of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association has issued decisions after ruling on protests filed by Division Two clubs.

Case: A.C. Sondisco F.C protested against Port of Tema F.C. for fielding an unqualified player in the person of Teddy Dzeagu

Decision

In light of the case above, the Committee decides as follows:

1. That the protest by A.C. Sondisco will succeed. 2. Port of Tema having been found to have breached Article 29(1)(b) is hereby declared losers of the match in question in accordance with Article 34(2). Accordingly, A. C. Sondisco is hereby awarded 3 points and 3 goals. 3. Port of Tema shall pay a fine of GHc100.00, 50% of the amount shall be paid to A.C. Sondisco in accordance with Article 34(5a) of the GFA Regulations. 4. Port of Tema further shall lose 3 points from its accumulated points build up.

Case:Dreams F.C. protested against Al-Sadd S.C. for bringing their outstanding week (3) league match to an abrupt end after a goal was scored by Dreams F.C

Decision

The Committee therefore makes the following decisions:

1. In accordance with Article 34(1)(c) and 34(1)(d) of the GFA Regulations Al-Sadd S.C. shall forfeit the match. 2. That Al-Sadd S/C is hereby declared losers of the said match and consequently 3 points and 3 goals is hereby awarded to Dream F.C. 3. Al-Sadd S.C. shall further lose 3 points from its accumulated points build up. 4. Al-Sadd S.C. shall pay GHc100.00 as a fine to the RFA, 50% of the amount shall be paid to Dreams F.C. 5. In addition, Al-Sadd S.C. shall pay GHc30.00 to the R.F.A. which shall be paid to Dreams F/C as its transportation expense or cost as the way team in consonant with Article 34(5)(a).
