The Disciplinary Code document of the Ghana Football Association has been returned back to its drafters for additional inputs.
After deliberating the document, Congress, chaired by GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi on Thursday deferred consideration of the proposed code and sent it back for it to be worked on and be more consistent with other regulations of the GFA.
The Disciplinary Code was laid before Congress for enforcement by the Executive Committee.
The document determines the sanctions incurred, regulates the organization and function of the bodies responsible - Disciplinary Committee, Ethics Committee and Appeals Committee - for taking decisions and the procedures to be followed.
The GFA are yet to adopt the provisions of the code which will be accordance with Article 145 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code.
