The Football Association has confirmed the fixtures for the 2026/27 Division One League Zone Three, setting the stage for another fiercely contested campaign featuring former Premier League clubs, ambitious newcomers and determined promotion hopefuls.

A total of 240 matches will be played across Zone Three during the season, with the campaign scheduled to kick off over the weekend of September 18–21, 2026, and run through to May 24, 2027.

With promotion to the Premier League at stake, clubs will begin the long journey knowing that consistency, resilience and a strong start could prove decisive in the race for top-flight football.

Last season's runners-up, Semper Fi FC LBG, will begin their campaign away from home against Okwahu United.

After coming close to promotion last season, Semper Fi will be determined to go one step further this time around and make an early statement of intent in their quest for Premier League football.

Accra Lions face Golden Warriors

Former Premier League side Accra Lions will open their campaign at home against Golden Warriors in one of the standout fixtures of the opening weekend.

The encounter is expected to provide an early test of both sides' ambitions as they look to establish themselves among the leading contenders.

Elsewhere, Home Stars will host Hakla SC, while FC Nania welcome debutants Nukunu FC in another intriguing contest.

Great Olympics begin with Attram de Visser test

Two-time Ghana Premier League champions Great Olympics will also begin their Zone Three campaign at home, taking on Attram de Visser.

The fixture gives the historic Accra club an immediate opportunity to lay down a marker as they seek to navigate their way back towards the top flight.

Debutants ready to make their mark

Newcomers 7th Wave FC will make their Division One League debut at home against True Democracy, as they begin their journey in the second tier.

Another debutant, Nukunu FC, faces a challenging opening assignment away to FC Nania.

The presence of new entrants adds another layer of intrigue to a Zone Three campaign already featuring several clubs with Premier League experience and ambitions of returning to the elite.

WAFA, Inter Allies and Kotoku Royals in action

WAFA SC will travel to face Golden Kick SC, while two former Premier League sides, Inter Allies and Kotoku Royals, will go head-to-head in a fixture that promises plenty of competitive intensity.

With both clubs possessing top-flight experience, their meeting could provide one of the early highlights of the campaign.

Across Zone Three, 240 matches will be contested during the 2026/27 campaign, with clubs facing a demanding schedule on the road to promotion.

The season will begin from September 18–21, 2026, before culminating on May 24, 2027.

From last season's runners-up seeking redemption to former Premier League giants targeting a return to the top flight and newcomers eager to establish themselves, the ingredients are in place for another compelling Division One League season.
