Liberty Professionals produced a rare win in Cape Coast where they won 1-0 against Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League.
A second half goal by Michael Appiah handed Liberty all three points that lifted them one point and a place above Dwarfs, who drop to the ninth position.
Dwarfs have remained inconsistent so far in the league, having registered two wins.
The defeat at home was their third of the season.
At the Gyamfi Park, Issa Adamu's equaliser ensured that Bechem United shared the spoils with New Edubiase in their 1-1 draw.
Edubiase took a 10th minute lead through Sakyi Quaye but Adamu scored to level matters in the second half.
